I bought these earrings for myself along with several other pieces of jewelry on Black Monday as gifts for my adult female friends. I’m very disappointed with the sizes of everything I bought; Amazon should show pictures that are more “true to size” in the future for jewelry items.

As to the color of the stones, they are “ok”, but just “ok”. I was expecting a deeper, richer purple color than I received. I love amethysts and they are my birthstone, so I have several pieces to compare these with and these are truly lacking in tonal quality.

They really are more fitting in size for a little girl instead of a grown woman. They are stud earrings, and they are cute, but tiny!!! I’m really glad now that I didn’t buy the matching pendant, it would look ridiculous on me. If you are looking for a perfect gift for a young lady of 6-13 years old, then these earrings and the matching pendant would be the thing to buy.

I won’t be buying any more jewelry items from Amazon unless they start showing accurate photographs of their products.

Love these earrings!, October 19, 2010

These earrings were much smaller than I had imagined they would be but they’re beautiful none the less, not like anyone could really notice them unless they were sitting very close to either side of me. But they do stand out, I’ve received a number of compliments on them, definitely worth having.

These earrings were prettier than I expected. The post is at the top of the earring, not towards the center. I didn’t care for the way they hung off my ear, so I put them in my 2nd piercing, higher on my lobe. That put them so they covered my lobe and just came off the end, and I loved it! The stones aren’t a clear great color but, as in the photo, they aren’t represented to be. I really like them and have worn them several times since they arrived. My only issue was with the packaging. They were in a plastic bag and smashed flat against a paperback book I had also ordered. I straightened out the posts and sent Amazon a message letting them know they have an idiot working in their packing department!

Gorgeous! Everything that I expected!, April 28, 2011

These earrings are a marvel! The only thing I don`t quite like about them is the fastener. I would be happier if they had a traditional so-called English fastener. But all the rest is a work of art! I bought them for some of my summer outfits and I am sure they are going to be perfect additions and ornaments for many special outings.

I agree, the sizing is a bit erratic I guess…, July 5, 2007

I ordered a size 7 and this isn’t a 7, it’s some larger size, but otherwise is an attractive ring. It just can’t be worn by the person intended unless we pay more $ $ $ to have it resized. We’ve ordered at least a half dozen various, other size 7 rings on amazon and other si tes, so I’d have to guess the sizing method for this specific ring isn’t the most accurate.

It’s ended up in the “pass it on to someone else” gift pile. As I said, it’s a nice ring; if you really like it and want to take your chances, go for it, but realize, there’s a chance you won’t get the size you’re anticipating.

Ring is Beautiful — Sizing is ROTTEN, June 26, 2007

This is a beautiful ring and I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. The problem is when I ordered it, it was a gift for my mom. She wears a size 9 and I ordered a size 9. She couldn’t get it on. I was very disappointed — to say the least. I know that it is a size 8 because it fits my ring finger on my right hand. I bought her a ring from a local jeweler to replace this one. The ring is beautiful but don’t rely on the sizes.

I have big hands, long fingers and ordered a size 9. It’s a perfect fit. I think this is a really unique, showy ring that is very flattering to my large hands and I personally love it. The blue and green stones are not as vividly colored as shown but all in all still a great value for the money.

I own both the starter bracelet and necklace that I bought at the Juicy Couture store. Since it is only gold plated the gold color strips and chips away with normal wear leaving your bracelet looking cheap as it reveals the brass underneath. If you get anything with rinestones, the rinestones may fall out(mostly on the charms). I do like them, and everywhere I go people always compliment me on them, even if they don’t know about Juicy. I would say, they are cute and you can buy them, but don’t expect them too last too long. The very best Juicy Couture jewelry to buy is the sterling silver but the prices are significantly higher. For a charm that in gold plating costs 40, the same one in sterling silver can be 150! My sister just received a sterling necklace that costs about 300! So spending about 30 to 60 on the starter gold plated necklace and bracelet and charms, is not too bad(although the charms are more expensive, but the bracelet and necklace look really nice without them). The best things to buy at Juicy are the tracksuits, purses, and t-shirts. Be careful with jewelry and even some of their shoes. So in closing, I love everything at Juicy, you feel like a princess when you wear anything from there, just don’t expect their lower end jewelry to last in the same state you bought it in for very long. Definitely don’t wear in the shower, pool, things like that to extend the life of it. And if you can afford the sterling silver, (as they don’t have solid gold) jewelry, then that would be your best bet. Hope this helps!:)

Bought this bracelet as a xmas gift for my daughter. The gold tone was visibly wearing within the first 2 days she owned the product. She did not shower or sleep with the bracelet. After one week the bracelet looked horrible and my daughter no longer wears it. No response from seller.

I love this bracelet. My lovely husband gave it to me, just because. It’s pretty heavy, which I like and shines well. I don’t wear it every day as I want it to last longer without too many scratches. Just wish JC stuff were not as pricey.

Shiny Objects, March 7, 2011

Being a constant multi-tasker and always in the hurry mode, I saw the heart necklace on line, read a few reviews, and stopped the search…all good. It arrived quickly and the first surprise was its size–quite small and petite (I did expect bigger; sometimes, size really does matter!). Next I removed the tiny link chain..it had to go. I found one of my several favorite sterling chains, paired it with my diamond earrings and voilah! Gorgeous! I had many comments, I know, thinking they were real diamonds since the sparkle is competitive with the real bling. My advice is check the size so you know (about 1/2″ at the widest) what you are getting. Otherwise, it is pretty and very sparkly. We do love our shiny objects!I polish it with a jewelry cloth each time I wear it for maximum shiny…a must with silver.

Illegal Piece of Jewelry contains lead!, March 18, 2010

This bracelet is clearly illegal and violates CPSIA lead content regulations for children’s products. Swarovski crystal is very beautiful, and also full of lead and is restricted from use on ALL jewelry for children 12 years and under!!!

It is stunning. About an inch tall, with an 18″ chain. Chain is a little thin, but the holes are more than big enough if you want a different one.

When I got the box, I was worried to open it. Comes in a generic red jewelry box. I was really hesitant about buying jewelry online. When I did open the box, HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL. It’s stunning. Just stunning. The silver is very shiny, and the stones are great. Perfectly perfect.

Bracelet itself great, packaging leaves much to be desired, January 9, 2010

I bought this as a gift for my wife, which is why I was left unimpressed with how it was packaged – third-rate, dollar-store-type cheapo box (surprising – to say the least – if the list price for this product really is 0). The bracelet itself is beautiful, appears to be well-made and my wife loves it (which covers all that is most important), but just be warned that if you’re giving this as a gift you might want to fashion your own packaging.
